River Bluff High School Captures the 2026 WSCGA Vicki Hillen JGF High School Invitational and Mentoring Weekend Hosted by Rosie Jones

Hilton Head Island, SC (September 30, 2026) – The River Bluff High School girls golf team (Lexington, SC) captured the Women’s South Carolina Golf Association (WSCGA) Vicki Hillen Junior Golf Foundation High School Invitational and Mentoring weekend title at Moss Creek Golf Club this past weekend. The event, hosted by LPGA legend Rosie Jones, featured 72 players from 15 teams and 12 individual competitors, all battling over 36 holes on the George Fazio-designed course.

5. May River High School, Bluffton (670)

• Sadie Westbrook, Charleston Collegiate (72 -- 72 =144) 
• Serra Erlenkeuser, T.L. Hanna (75 -- 71 = 146)
• Arley Jennings, Mountain View Prep (74 -- 74 =148)
• Lexi Palazzo, Hilton Head Prep (74 -- 74 =148)

Sadie Westbrook took the Devils Elbow South Course head on this past weekend and finished with a wonderful even par 72-72 for the 2 rounds, receiving the Individual Champion honors.

The Mentors

Rosie Jones is a 13-time LPGA Tour winner and seven-time U.S. Solheim Cup competitor, was joined by LPGA legends Jackie Gallagher-Smith, Leta Lindley, Yvonne Cox-Holmes, Hollis Stacy, Ashli Bunch, and Tracy Hanson. Together, they provided mentorship, swing tips, and encouragement to the junior golfers throughout the weekend.

About Moss Creek Golf Club

Moss Creek has a long history of supporting and hosting girls' and women's golf events at all levels. The Moss Creek Women's Invitational was an official LPGA Tour event from 1976 to 1985. Hollis Stacy won the tournament in 1980 and 1983. In 2018 the community hosted the WSCGA Junior Girls Championship. And the SEC and other intercollegiate women's contests have become annual calendar highlights.

Golf Digest refers to Moss Creek Golf Club - South as "a beauty with a bite." Much of the nationally famous Devil's Elbow South Course stretches past lovely salt marshes along the Intracoastal Waterway and Mackay Creek, which brush along the northern reaches of the property.
