Blythewood, SC 08/15/2024 - The 2024 South Carolina Women's Open Presented by Richland County is just two weeks away at the beautiful Cobblestone Park Golf Club in Blythewood, SC. The week kicks off with an online auction open to the public going live on Monday, August 19 @ 9am (https://www.32auctions.com/wscgaauction) followed by the South Carolina Women’s Open Pro-Am on August 29th. The Pro-Am will be played on the championship course with each team comprising 4 amateurs and one professional. The Pro-Am will include lunch, 1pm shotgun start, on-course prizes, beverages, silent auction, awards reception, and music by Grammy Award Winner Keith Burns from the band Trick Pony. The 2024 South Carolina Women’s Open will begin at 8am on Friday, August 30th and will consist of four Divisions: Open Amateur (49 and under), Open Professional (44 and under), Senior Amateur (50 and over), and Senior Professional **(45 and over). The Seniors will play two days, (August 30, 31), while the Open Division will play three days (August 30 - September 1). There will be approximately 65 players in the field including: Leta Lindley the 2024 US Women's Senior Open Champion, Tracy Hanson the 2023 past SC Women's Open champion, Pam Prescott the 2023 Player of the Year, and Gracyn Burgess one of SC's top junior golfers in her professional debut. Professionals will be playing for a purse of $20,000. The top amateurs and senior amateurs will be awarded a tournament trophy. Spectators are welcome with free admission.
