Rosie Jones Mentoring Program
The new program is the latest assistance offering from the WSCGA Vicki Hillen JGF that is designed to help South Carolina's competitive girl golfers achieve their goals of playing in college and possibly beyond.
- Offers $2,000 Grants to Qualifying High School Girl Golfers
- Must be a South Carolina resident
- Must be a female under the age of 18
- Must not be affiliated with an NCAA college or university
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Provides reimbursement for golf lessons by a PGA/LPGA teaching professional up to $200 per player per calendar year.
- Must be female between the ages of 8 - 18
- Must not be affiliated with an NCAA college or university
- Must be a legal resident of South Carolina
- Lessons must be taken in the current calendar year by a PGA/LPGA golf professional
JUNIOR GOLF ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Provides reimbursement for tournament entry fees up to $400 per player per calendar year.
- Must have played/participated in one of these WSCGA events: The Foundation Par 3 Challenge, WSCGA Amateur Championship, WSCGA Junior Championship, WSCGA Vicki Hillen JGF High School Invitational and Mentoring Weekend Hosted by Rosie Jones and/or any JGF LPGA Junior Clinic
- Must be female under the age of 19 when playing in applicable tournament
- Must not be affiliated with an NCAA college or university
- Must be a legal resident of South Carolina
- Applications must be received in the current calendar year that the event occurred
Note: Junior golfers that are entering college on a golf scholarship may apply and receive this financial assistance without violating any NCAA/USGA Rules. This is in accordance with NCAA guidelines (Bylaws) 12:1:2e.
